The Sacramento Bottom Feeders would like to
present their 2000 (4th annual) team slideshow. The slide show (soon to
come) contains 10 beautifully illustrated slides craftily produced by our
player personnel director Lonnie Glieberman and his assistant Mr. Emmanuel
Lewis. They contain most of the requested information (we have still
filled out the asked for form Mr. Houle), asked for by our esteemed Internet
Creator. I ask him to please place this slideshow intact upon the
website (if possible) and if not to select the images from it that he wishes
(they have been grouped by Mr. Glieberman for cutting and pasting). To
all other G.M.s we invite you to take a sneak preview of our celebratory
slideshow and to invest whatever money you wish in our team after you have
finished (not like we need it). We would also like, at this time, to
officially welcome Mr. Aguanno and Mr. Emond to our league.
Horne Chen Assistant G.M. and Assistant Chief Buttox Chomper (please read on) Team Name : Sacramento Bottom Feeders Team Logos : Available on Team slideshow - blue skate (type of fish) on a green background Team History - The team originally came to Sacramento via Boise, Idaho. It was at first part of the new Pacific Hockey League (founded by Keith Gretzky) which folded in 1996 after 3 months of operation. The team's original name was The Arryan Nation Hockey Club, but was changed by Harry Assucker the original petitioner for the team in the Sacramento area. He named the team after his favorite type of manta ray the San Francisco Bay Skate which feeds on the algae on the bottom of the bay. In 1997, Mr. Assucker (suffering from a financial burden after his methanphetamine lab blew up) invited Bruce McNall, Larry Rickman, and Johann Vilder to purchase the team from the PHL and to create an NHL team. 2 months later McNall and Rickman who were already serving unrelated fraud sentences had to relinquish the team to pay for lawyer bills. After only one year of operation Mr. Vilder's Bottom Feeders had won the Pacific Division with a record point total for an expansion team. They then lost to the St. Louis Blues in the 2nd round of the playoffs. They have been the only expansion team that has been competitive in both regular and playoff seasons over the last 3 years. Team Slogan - New for 2000 - "We'll Munch Your Butts" Team Colours - Home jersey - forest green, and light blue; Away Jersey -emerald green skate on white background Team Mascot - Mrs. Skatehead (for obvious reasons) and Uncle Sam - please see slideshow GM RELATED: GM Name and brief history - Johann Vilder is the proud owner of Chaotic Technologies, a private high-tech industry operating in the Silicon Valley. While little is known about the details of Chaotic Technologies it is speculated that they hold many lucrative and secretive government contracts in Nevada and other desert areas of the United States and possibly the Canadian North. Johann Vilder has only been arrested for fraud once (in 1985), though he has been under suspicion for extortion, bribery, money-laundering, blackmail, and jaywalking over the past 20 years. Mr. Vilder currently lives in Sacramento, California with his wife Tootie (18). He is 97 years old.
