| The Undertaker's Wedding (1997) Cast:Adrien Brody, Jeff Wincott, Burt Young, Kari Wuher An undertaker(Brody) helps a mobster (Wincott) hide out from rival mobsters after a deal goes down, along the way the mobster teaches the undertaker how to get the girl however things are complicated when the undertaker falls for the mobster's wife in this would be mobster comedy, which isn't half as amusing as Spike Of Bensonhurt or Married To The Mob. Jeff Wincott's change of pace role doesn't work because the part needs someone like Sasha Mitchell. Sasha Mitchell the star of Kickboxer sequels as well as Spike Of Bensonhurst has a real talent for playing roles where he can play an unlikable character and make him irresistable to audiences. Jeff Wincott on the other hand is better at playing mean spirited bad guys who would kill his own mother. Take his excellent work in The Killing Man or Last Man Standing where he makes the characters gritty and believable. The part should have gone to someone like Sasha Mitchell. Adrien Brody is better suited to the part as is Burt Young who make up most of the appeal here. Kari Wuher is better than usual but even Wincott is far more believable than she is and really the story has a lot of slow moments and only a few vaugely amusing moments. So even though this comedy looked like a good idea on paper the movie's failed execution make this only for fans of the stars. Jeff Wincott fans though should expect that there is hardly any action.
