| The Rookie (1990) Cast:Clint Eastwood,Charlie Sheen,Raul Julia,Sonia Braga Clint Eastwood stars as a hard-boiled cop who shows his rookie partner (Sheen) how to take out a group of chop shop thugs who killed Eastwood's first partner in this extremely disappointing genre piece which wastes the talent of all involved and doesn't really take off from the ground making this one of Eastwood's lowest points in movies. Really that's all there is to say about this one-note actionflick which is so dull and poorly scripted that even Clint Eastwood die hards will be disappointed with this seriously sub-par vehicle which fails on almost all levels to really provide any enjoyment.
