Hell Comes To Frogtown (1987)

Cast:Roddy Piper, Shandahl Bergman,William Smith

Roddy Piper stars as Sam Hell, one of the few fertile men left on the planet (After the apoclypse, etc) so he travels to frogtown to save a group of fertile women kidnapped by evil mutated frogs in this imaginative and surreal actioner which shows that any idea can happen in the movies.

Roddy Piper has two really big movies,
They Live was better of course but this movie is far too entertaining to hate, now as I write this I'm still wondering if I should give this "The Guttenberg" or not. I won't because you have to assume most of the humor is intentional and therefore I will recommend it as such but I could be wrong. Of course most people not into B.movies are smart enough not to rent this just by the title.

The production values are quite pleasing, the actionscenes well staged and the movie features many amusing scenes, such as a frog chainsawing Roddy's chasity belt which could blow up his balls. I was never bored through out. Infact this is the perfect late night viewing, infact it's mandatory late night viewing especially it's more amusing that way. See this is why today's movies of recent have gotten really lame these days,  where are the surreal movies that make you wonder what the hell is going on?  I don't care what anyone says but I miss these type of movies where exploitation movies were fun and it contained creativity. Of course I just might be insane in the membrane.
Hell Comes To Frogtown is the definition of guilty pleasure. D.Donald G. Jackson, R.J Kiser ***
