| Gale Force (2002) Cast:Treat Williams,Michael Dudikoff,Tim Thomerson, Curtis Armstrong,William Zabka A handful of people on a gameshow fight for their lives when thieves who want the game prize of 10 million dollars however a horrible storm threaten to take all of their lives in this awful "Reality-show" spin off that is so bad and laughable that it prompted me to say. "It just doesn't get any cheesier then this" Disaster movies like this just don't get any worse then this atrocious "Survivor" inspired flick which doesn't gel because the basis of sucsess is that it really happens, But alas the producers thought so and the movie suffers from that alone, but that's hardly the flick's many problems. The acting is just plain awful, how bad is the acting Michael Dudikoff comes off the best as the leader of the thugs. Williams is at his lowest point in his career (And I saw Dead Heat) There is just no getting around the fact that even for a cheap action flick this movie is one terrible movie. So is there anything positive to say about Gale Force? Actually yes there is, it has a good actionscene in the beginning when Williams drives his convertable to get away from terrorists but alas it's taken from Last Action Hero! Infact the stock footage doesn't end there, I counted Predator, Casualties Of War, Solo and Universal Soldier. Basicly what we end up with is a laughable action flick that sinks to the bottom of the barrel thanks to it's awful premise. * |
