| Druids (2001) Cast:Christopher Lambert,Max Von Sydow,Klaus Maria Brandauer Lambert stars in this excruciating "historical epic" about Druids who fight Julius Caesar; whom is looking to drive out the druids once and for all. I can't say how sad I am to give this Lambert movie a BOMB rating, I for one have an admiration for Christopher Lambert, who to me is an underrated actor, after all Highlander is a great movie, and Lambert also starred in a mean-edged ninja movie, The Hunted, but Lambert and everybody else here create a big disaster that is an insult to anyone who has even slightly enjoyed a Christopher Lambert movie. For a movie that promises tons of carnage there is hardly any, and the actionscenes are so poorly edited with these obnoxious camera angles, that the movie is like watching grass grow. Among the actionstars genre, Lambert is one of the more tolerable, but even die hard Lambert fans won'tfind this lackluster farce worthwhile. D.Jacques Dorfmann BOMB |
