Cyborg 3:The Recycler (1994)

Cast:Zach Galligan, Richard Lynch, Malcom McDowell,Khrystyne Haje, William Katt, Michael Bailey Smith, Evan Lurie

A man protects a pregnant cyborg against a group of bounty hunters who want to use the robotic baby for parts, along the way he starts falling for the cyborg in what has to be the wimpiest actioner ever made, sure it's good to have a movie that relies on a premise to deliver the goods but seriously this is far too stupid to take seriously and the lack of action only makes things worse.

Zach Galligan is not action star material and he's not for a reason. He doesn't know martial arts, he looks unbelievably lanky and looks laughable with a gun in his hand and furthermore during the climax he actually lets the other cyborgs fight the battles, where is this guy's guts?  Richard Lynch at least manages to provide a little fun here and there are a few interesting concepts here and there but mainly this is a wimpy actioner. Galligan is just so nerdy-looking and it's just ridiculous. The part needs Michael Pare or someone like that unfortunately
Cyborg 3 stinks because of this.  At least Elias Koteas and Jean-Claude Van Damme were imposing enough to convince us that they were heroic. Still it's marginally better than Cyborg . D.Michael Schroeder *1/2
