| Can't get no respect;at least after this clunker. The Action flicks which destroyed the star's credibility. (30 movies that signaled the end.) 1.End Of Days *-After Schwarzenegger made this dud, everyone assumed he was far too old to make action movies. Sure he made up some cred after Terminator 3 but then he went into politics. 2.Rambo III *-Sly Stallone wasn't just an action hero he was the prophecy when it ame to action flicks, after he made this dreadful sequel, Sly began to stall at the box office. Sure Demolition Man and Rocky V made money but he starred in bomb after bomb which contributed to his downward spiral. 3.Last Man Standing *-With Die Hard behind him, Behind him Bruce sure made his bombs in the early 90's but then he made Pulp Fiction which made a huge comeback, after this debacle though Bruce never seemed to ever truly rebound until finally in 1999. And even still Willis has been generally inconsistent with his movies. 4.Death Wish II-* This is where Bronson officially kissed his career goodbye, Bronson certainly made a few guilty pleasures like Death Wish 3 and 5 but most of his material were far beneath his talent, many people didn't take him seriously anymore and he never truly recovered. 5.Firewalker-* After this movie Chuck Norris' movies began to wane in popularity. Of course it didn't help that Norris decided to make clunkers after his respectable movies but after this crap, Norris never recovered, ever. Infact he didn't even make an enjoyable movie afterwards. Infact he went to television afterwards. 6.The Quest *-After Maximum Risk, Jean-Claude Van Damme seemed to have just hit his stride, of course he then made this flop and then subsequently Double Team and Knock Off. What was most ironic was that all of Van Damme's more interesting efforts (Legionnaire and Desert Heat) were sent to video while his worst were marketed theatrically. 7.-On Deadly Ground NO STARS- Somewhere along the way Steven Seagal saw Billy Jack and then decided to rip it off, I must admit I enjoy a few of earlier Seagal movie but really after this it's been downhill. For some reason Seagal thinks fans would rather see him act rather than fight, uh earth to Steven, never have we rented your stuff for anything but fighting. 8.The Minion *- Dolph Lundgren never was successful on the big screen but after this mess, Lundgren seemed to have hammered the final nail in the coffin in his career, made for 12 million dollars this fiasco forever scarred the swedish strong man's career. After this it was the straight to video rack, sure he came close with Blackjack for a comeback, but then he he made movies for phoenican films and this is why. 9.River Of Death *- Made after Michael Dudikoff's American Ninja series and Avenging Force, Dudikoff turned down American Ninja 3, because he wanted to play challanging roles however although one commends his wisdom on American Ninja 3, River Of Death while slightly better failed to establish himself seriously and in 1991 returned to the role he was best remembered for American Ninja 4, by then it was too late. 10.Highlander 2:The Quickening *-Christopher Lambert did indeed have a few respectable movies after this but this movie sticks to him like white on rice. Incomprehensible nonsense which disappointed everyone who came across it, now labeled as one of the worst science fiction movies of all time. Ouch. 11.Deadly Outbreak * -Jeff Speakman seemed to be on the brink of stardom with The Perfect Weapon but then after the disappointing results of Street Knight and The Expert indicated where his career was going, however Deadly Outbreak shows where the quality and budget petered out. |
