| Editors Notes by Bob Frost If you havent yet heard, the Sportmens Days have been cancelled. It took a lot of work to organize, and, without Joe Dotys help, no one else was willing to step up and take over the workload. He has put a lot of work into this event over the years. At the end of the last meeting, I heard that on Aug 10 & 11, there will be a 149th Black Powder shoot, which is a type of Civil War era shoot. It is not open to the public to shoot, but you can spectate. That is all that I know about it, so check at the clubhouse for more info. We have decided to add an extra newsletter, during the spring and summer months. This will allow us to cover a two month span, instead of the old three. As you know, a lot happens in the spring and summer, and this should allow us to stay more up to date. The deadline for getting an article into the next newsletter is at the meeting on September 11th. If you want new people to attend your activities, I suggest that you put an article into the newsletter. It doesnt have to be fancy, just give me the facts and I will put them together for you. We can even put photos in. They can be either film, or digital, color, or black and white. I can be reached at (315) 676-4251, faxed at 676-7231, emailed at [email protected]. I am also usually at the regular monthly meetings. |
