| The Sports Pistol event is one of the two Olympic Matches for women. It is also the main match for Junior shooters but not at Olympic level. The match follows exactly the same format as for the Centre Fire Match. Pistols used are the same as for the Standard Pistol Match - .22 long rifle calibre, 5 shot capacity and semi-automatic action. The same two types of target are used as for centre fire - the 50m precision target for the precision part of the event and a single rapid fire target for the rapid fire stage. The match is shot at 25m and consists of 30 shots precision and 30 shots rapid for a total of 60 shots and a possible score of 600. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
