Good news everyone! Presedent Sadam Hussein has been ousted and replased with an American general. Democracy has arrived in Iraq!~ I can just see the American flag waivers out there with a tear of joy flowing down their cheek with the thought of how much better a place Iraq is now that America has saved them. To bad that Iraq had a working economy and viabrent culture before the americans begain driving their M1A1's over top of Iraqi children in an attempt to get a shot at the fleeing Iraqi army (that possed a large threat to the American homeland). I guess Bush is trying out his hand at running a dictatorship overseas befor he imports the concept. Any one actualy read the Patriot act?

First read a few quotes from Bush:

"You don't get everything you want. A dictatorship would be a lot easier." Describing what it's like to be governor of Texas.(Governing Magazine 7/98)
-- From Paul Begala's "Is Our Children Learning?"

"I told all four that there are going to be some times where we don't agree with each other, but that's OK. If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator," Bush joked.
-- CNN.com, December 18, 2000

"A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it, " [Bush] said.
-- Business Week, July 30, 2001

It's quite a shame that Bush is ignoring the wishes of the people of Iraq to let them set up their own government and is instead choosing to appoint one out of the people that helped him "defeat" Sadam. Wasn't that one of the things that Sadam did that was used as an exuse for the invasion (after it became clear that Sadam had already used up all the WMD's that daddy Bush had given him to help destroy the evil Iranians)
If you are an American i sure hope you enjoy this war because you will be paying for it for the rest of your lives due to the way in which Bush is fucking the economy.
