PSE History Time Line
1951   The idea of a fraternity in sales and marketing was conceived.

1952    Pi Sigma Epsilon was incorporated under Georgia Laws of Incorporation on
               May 14.

1952   The first chapter, Alpha, was chartered at Georgia State University.

1957   The first PSE National Convention was held in Atlanta, Georgia.

1959   The first Life Memberships were offered.

1960   The first National Awards Program was presented to chapters.

1966   Mu Kappa Tau, the National Marketing Honor Society, was formed by members
              of PSE.

1967   The PSE National Educational Foundation was created to assist PSE members
              in acheiving their educational pursuits.

1968   PSE National Headquarters moved from Atlanta to New York.

1969   The first Field Services Representative was hired to conduct Chapter visits.

1970   The Chapter Efficiency Index was created.

1971   The Computer Marketing Games Competition was offered to chapters.

1974   Women are admitted into PSE membership.

1980   The first issue of the
Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management was
              published by PSE.

1981   The first PSE Career Fair was held at the PSE National Convention.

1984   PSE National Headquarters moved to Hartland, WI.

1984   Dr. D.A. Barsellotti became the first female National President of PSE.

1986   The 100th chapter of PSE was chartered.

1992   The Pro/Am Sell-A-Thon sales competition was introduced.

1994   The Certified Chapter Officer Program was introduced.

1994   National Headquarters moved to Oak Creek, WI.

1998   The first National Leadership Forum was held in Las Vegas.

1999    National Headquarters moved to Milwaukee, WI.

2002   PSE celebrated its 50th Anniversary.

PRESENT   PSE continues to increase the benefits and services to all members
                       through creative programming and professional developement.
