Here I am in my Learning and Motivation psychology class with one of the rats we trained. I think this one is Buddy.
The daily marché in Aix. Not quite as big and interesting as the Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday one, but still pretty good.
One of the calanques at Cassis, France. All the hotels were full when we came here, so we ended up sleeping on one of the cliffs overlooking the sea. The next day we just laid on the beach in the sun, enjoying the beautiful view.
The atomium, a.k.a. atominomicon, in Brussels. Yes, it is a giant molecule. Each atom is probably 30 feet or so in diameter.
At the chapel overlooking the little village of Moustier-Ste-Marie, probably one of the fakest, most touristy places in all of Provence. But it looks real, which I guess is all that matters.
A poster in the train stations in Lausanne, Switzerland. Your guess is as good as mine.
Grrrr....
At Lake Geneva. I was the only person in the whole of Europe wearing earmuffs.
Right after James proposed on the Eiffel Tower, it started pouring for about 5 minutes, and afterwards this rainbow appeared in the sky. You could see the whole thing, plus another one above it. I took it as a sign from God that we were supposed to get married. (I take a lot of things as signs from God. For example, if my computer crashes late at night when I'm working on a paper, it's a sign from Him that I'm supposed to go to bed.) I think we're supposed to get married in the church that the end of the rainbow is on, but it's a bit too expensive for us.
