Pirate PalateHamburgers & French Fries

Hamburgers
5 lbs ground beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1 cup mustard
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp Cavenders meat tenderizer
1 tbsp table salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 large onion (sliced)


French Fries
10 lb bag of potatoes
2 gallons vegetable oil
1 large onion (sliced)

 

Hamburgers

Mix all ingredients for hamburgers together, except the sliced onions.

Make thin patties.

Place onion slice between two thin patties.

Form patty around the onion so the onion is not visible.

Place hamburgers on a charcoal grill (allow 15 minutes to preheat), for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

The patties appear to be an orange color from the mustard.

Allow to cool before eating.

Enjoy with your favorite toppings.

 

French Fries

Peel and slice the potatoes.

Heat the oil in a deep fryer.

Slice onions.

Place potatoes in the hot oil.

Place onions in hot grease.

Remove in about 3-5 minutes (depending on the heat of the fryer).

Repeat steps until all potatoes and onions are cooked.
