   Sweet Potato Pie

1 32-ounce can of sweet potatoes (no specific brand needed)
1 stick of butter
3 large eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 tablespoon of flour
½ cup of orange juice (no specific brand needed)
1 store bought pie crust

 


 

 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sweet potatoes, dry ingredients, orange juice, and vanilla.

In a small bowl, crack eggs.

Combine eggs with the ingredients in the large mixing bowl.

With a hand mixer, mix ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Pour mixture into the pie crust shell.

Place pie crust shell onto a baking sheet and put it in the oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Let the pie cool for 10-15 minutes.

Serve with whip crème or ice cream.
