Cookies

1 tube frozen Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
1 large bag of regular M & M’s
1 bag of mini-pretzels (not sticks)

Other Items

2 bowls
Several cookie sheets
Several cooling racks
Patience
Clean hands
Clean flat counter

After assembling the necessary ingredients, allow the Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough to thaw until it is slightly soft (not mushy, just firm enough to make clean, ¼-inch slices, but soft enough to mold)

Preheat oven to 400º F.

Separate the brown and red M &M’s from all the others and place them in two separate bowls.  (You may choose a different color scheme if you like.)

Spray the pans with Pam and begin molding the sliced dough into a light bulb shape on the pans.

Place two brown M & M’s on either side of the top of the "bulb" for the "eyes."

Place one red M & M near the tip of the "snout" of the bulb to make it look like a nose.

Place two pretzels on the top edge above each brown M & M at a slightly outward angle to make them look like antlers.

Bake about 8 minutes on medium rack until golden brown so that they are both soft and crunchy.

Let them cool for about 5-10 minutes.

Eat with milk or by themselves.  Either way, they are delicious!
