Strawberry Pretzel Salad

1st layer (crust):
2 cups crushed pretzels
3 Tablespoons sugar
2/3 cup butter

 

 


2nd Layer:
1 8-oz. package cream cheese
1 8-oz. container Cool Whip
1 cup sugar

3rd Layer:
1 large box strawberry Jello
1 cup water
1 20-oz. package frozen strawberries, sliced
1 Medium can crushed pineapple

 

1st Layer

Crush pretzels.

Put pretzels in a 9x13 inch Pyrex dish.

Add sugar and butter (sliced).

Cook for seven minutes at 350.

Let cool completely.

 

2nd Layer

In a bowl, cream the 2nd-layer ingredients together

Add mixture to crust.

 

3rd Layer

Boil water and add to Jello; dissolve completely.

Add frozen strawberries and pineapple.

Fresh strawberries and pineapple can be substituted for frozen ingredients.

 

Spread 3rd-layer mixture over 2nd layer.

Serve chilled.
