On holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, my family and my dad's side of the family get together. We usually all stay at the beach or sometimes go to my Grandma's house in Florida. My grandmother, mom, and aunt are usually the ones who make the big dinners for special holidays, and they're usually in the kitchen all day.

Grandma always makes the desserts. I remember when I was little, and she would always make Reese's cheesecake that was so good. Since my cousin, my brother, and I get to pick out what desserts we want her to make, we always say we want her cheesecake. I think she got the recipe for this a long time ago out of a magazine or something. She knows it by heart, so whenever someone is helping her make it, she just tells them what to do.

When we eat it, usually it's cold because it has to sit in the refrigerator for a while. I like to warm it up and put whipped cream and Reese's Pieces on it. Sometimes I like to put a little bit of ice cream with it to make it extra yummy! The parents usually don't eat much of it anyways. Since we usually don't eat all of it the first night we make it, there's always leftovers of it. I like to put it in the freezer and eat it like that also.
