Rohirric comes from the legendary fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings, written by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. In the land of Middle Earth dwells the horselords of Rohan, also known as the Rohirrim. The Rohirrim speak Rohirric, which is similar, if not entirely the same as Anglo-Saxon, or Old English. The most famous of the Rohirrim is the lady �owyn, who defeated the witch king in the battle for Pelennor Fields when she rode with her father, King Th�oden, disguised as Dernhelm, a man of the Riddermark. The term Pirate is used, in this meaning, to express my fandom for the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. "Pirates" is my favorite movie, and though I do not condone piracy, I enjoy pirate films and researching historical seafarers.
