| McGaffery -an introduction | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The stories of the Pirate McGaffery are not for the faint-hearted or the weak-bladdered. It is not known when the Pirate first entered the imagination of his creator, Bill Day, but since then many short stories have been written about him and his adventures. Can you blame Disney for this? Possibly? What about Errol Flynn? Who knows? However, Bill's Irish ancestry may hold the key, recent pictures have been found in an old sea chest of William "Mad Squirrel, Nobeard" Day who may have been the inspiration. |

| However, perhaps the true beginnings of this pirate are best kept shrouded in secret. Read the stories and judge yourself. This site was created by Natalie Roe and her partner in internet wizardy, Martin Brien. This is to celebrate author Bill Day's 23rd birthday. |
