Their travels lead them to a small town wherein the police have taken notice of the dreaded pirates presence. The ruthless pirate, and his manboy, duck into a local bed and breakfast where they are taken in by a kindly pair of old maids who make them apple slices and chocolate milk.
There comes a knock on the door

through the peephole mcquaid sees the police chief. who goes by the name of bobby. (an american homage to the kindly people of the UK)
He comes in to search the premesi. (a kindly pluralization) He looks under the table and behind the old man standing aloof in the corner. After a thorough search he kisses the old women on the cheek and goes on his way. The police of the time often took liberties with kindly old women. As the door swung shut the two women looked at each other., They took off thier wigs to reveal the pirate and his man-boy. the let out a hearty ARRR and high five.
They pack up thier pirate stuff and get ready to head out, grabbing an extra slice of apple for the road and or sea. As the leave they duck thier head to avoid the foot of the old woman hanging from the rafters with her throat slit from ear to ear in a gruesome big smiley face of death and destruction.
