Frame: "Great light duty Dh frame. Works really good
on anything but the gnarliest of courses. Stable platform shock makes
the swingarm bike work so good that linkage systems are not as big of an
advantage anymore. This frame works good for me 'cuz it's quick on
the pedals and I'm always out of shape so I need the help."
Fork: "Really good race/shuttle fork because
it's light and has seven inches of plush Marzocchi travel. Not quite
burley enough for big jump or drop abuse, but just right for racing. I
set it up with the stiffest kit available and I only weigh 160lbs."
Wheels: "These wheels are heavy and hard
to mount tires onto."
Tires: "18-20 psi. Pretty good all
around performance. I should have run a mud tire in the rear at some
of these winter races."
Shifting: "Shifts really well. The
mechanic in me likes rapidfire but I actually prefer grip shift for racing."
Cranks/Botom Bracket: "Isis Stuff is cool!"
Pedals: "First generation Red DX Pedals are
super durable. I went back to clipless this winter after three or four
years on flats, and I'm riding faster on clipless. When these wear
out I will be sad."
