This is a shrine dedicated to Saitou Hajime's Rubber Chicken. An actual Rubber Chicken. You may not remember any Rubber Chicken in Rurouni Kenshin. That's because it wasn't there.
However, I and a few others are of the opinion that Saitou did not sell medicines. Rather, he sold Rubber Chickens. When Sanosuke refused to buy a Rubber Chicken, Saitou stabbed him. Remember that? Of course you do.
