Description: Inuyasha is a young hanyou, half human and half dog demon/inuyoukai, who was bound to the Goshinboku/God Tree by Kikyo, his lover, when they were both tricked by Naraku into hating each other. Fifty years later, he is awakened and freed by Kagome, who he initially tries to kill in order to get the Shikon no Tama to become a full youkai. He wants to become a full youkai by using the powers of the Shikon no Tama even knowing that using the Shikon no Tama only brings sadness.
Due to the fact that he is a hanyou, during the night of Shingetsu, or full moon, he reverts to a human form with black hair, no ears, no claws, and no youki he is very rightly afraid that too many people will find out that is the night that he is vulnerable.
