Hello there,

The log you have listed as ""The Wonder Woman Show"
- 1942-43 Radio Log"" (1st Season) is a complete
fabrication. There never was any such series. In
essence this is my Log of the Jack Benny show's
1942 - 1943 season, but with "THE WONDER WOMAN
SHOW" listed instead of "THE JACK BENNY SHOW" and
"STARRING: Agnes Moorehead as Wonder Woman" added.

In addition many of the titles have subtle (and
sometimes not so subtle) changes. for instance
in episode 1, the actual title was changed from
"JACK ROUNDS UP THE GANG IN THE MAXWELL" to "WW
ROUNDS UP THE GANG IN THE INVISIBLE PLANE" and in
episodes 6 and 7 "THE TWINK FAMILY" was changed to
"THE TWINKIE FAMILY," etc. If you want to see the
rest of the changes, you can go to my Jack Benny
Show log at http://otrsite.com/logs/logj1007.htm
and go down to the 1942 - 1943 season. Even the
Location numbers (6974, 6975, 6976, etc.) are my
Open Reel numbers for that Jack Benny series. In
later Logs, I use the catalog numbers of 95241,
95242, etc., but those numbers were directly from
my log in 2001.

I guess this is someone's idea of a funny joke
or prank, but personally I think it stinks. I am
requesting you to remove this travesty so that
more people (then have contacted me) are not misled
into thinking there actually was a "Wonder Woman"
radio series starring Agnes Moorehead. Or to make
it clear on the page that this is all made-up
material and actually a highly modified version of
my Jack Benny Log.

You should also probably contact everyone else
that has used this misinformation as gospel and so
posted it to their Sites.

If you have any questions, please feel free to
contact me.

Thank you,

Jerry
