"Mind's Eye" aired in 1997. Maurice Godin plays Jeffrey Starr, a con man who pretends to have psychic powers. After a blow to his head, Starr develops real psychic powers. A comedy of errors ensues. Starr attempts to help the Legacy team investigate a haunted house but ends up possessed himself.
"Mind's Eye" was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Visual Effects. This episode proved so popular with Poltergeist fans that the producers brought the character of Jeffrey Starr back again in the 3rd season episode, "Out of Sight". That episode premiered on the Showtime cable network, and began airing in syndication in the 1998-99 season.
