Sixth Grade
3 - 3 ring notebooks, 1 - 1 1/2 inches
          wide ruled notebook paper
3 - spiral notebooks (minimum of 100 pages)
6 - pocket folders with brads
24 - pencils (not mechanical)
3 - pens (1 of each: red, blue, black)
2 - boxes facial tissues
   - colored pencils
   - markers
   - scissors
2 - glue sticks (large)
1 - protractor
1- ruler with metrics
2 - dry erase markers (black)
1 - binder pencil pouch
Seventh Grade
1 - 1 inch binder (used for science only)
      dividers (for science only)
3 - spiral notebooks
3 - 3 prong/2 prong pocket folders
1 - set of colored markers
1 - set of colored pencils
     blue or black ink pens
     pencils
2 - red grading pens/pencils
     dry erase markers
     loose leaf notebook paper
     notebook/binder to be used in all classes

1 - calculator (a scientific calculator will be useful
              for several years)
Eighth Grade

Summer Reading List
Sixth Grade
Students are encouraged to visit the library and/or bookstores, browse around and select at least two books that interest them and that they really want to read.  Students will be asked to complete and activity regarding the two books after school begins.  Extra credit will be given to students reading more than two books.  Enjoy reading!!!
Seventh Grade
Seventh graders are required to read one book from the list.  An activity will be required regarding the book during the first week of school.  Students may read additional books from the list for possible extra credit.
