[return to p5 contents]
pipeline5.intro
Welcome to pipeline5, the fifth issue of pipeline, and our first online. Our choice to make pipeline5 an online issue rather than the usual paper zine was two-fold: it would save the costs of sending zines back to the US from our current headquarters in Berlin, and it would be a chance to experiment with a format that we felt might increase the exposure of pipeline and the music it covers. Whether or not pipeline will return in printed format is still under consideration, and will depend partially on the response to this issue's new format, so please let us know what you think. Unlike the pipeline home page, p5 has more of a minimalist html approach, both saving us time in crowded German computer labs and, hopefully, making things easier for you to read. This issue, then, obviously looks a little different than the usual issue of pipeline, but you'll find that the content of the zine has changed little, with the same features and reviews found in past issues. So, enjoy the zine, and drop us a line to tell us what you think!
Thanks,
Adam.
