The Blazers were here in Vancouver for 2 years (73-74 and 74-75)
when I was 7-8 years old. I went to several games, most of which
my parents got 2 free tickets when they bought $50 worth of
groceries at a local store. They would try to spend $100
each time (that's a small fortune in those days!!!!!!) so
that our whole family of 4 could go.I remember getting most of
the players' autographs before the game would start (they did
that in those days -- when the glass used to be low enough!). I
remember seeing Gordie Howe play.
