| Meet Chloe, A beautiful example of the rabicano gene at work in a maximum type form. Even though Arabians do not come in true roan, they do come in this and sabino roan, which are two variations and what most roans that are registered are. She is a beautiful filly who at this time is not available for sale. She comes with some very good bloodlines. A granddaughter of the well known TALAGATO through her sire. He also carries some of the greats of CMK through SKORAGE, RAFFLES, and RASEYN. Her dam line consisting of Babson, Old Egyptian, and Crabbet. Chloe's Rabicano gene is a doubled up gene through both her dam and sire. They are both carriers and expressors in the minimal form. Chloe is their fourth foal together and is probably one of the most expressed. Chloe is also currently the largest of our foals this year so we feel this girl will easily mature to 15hh. She just is a big big filly and has been since birth. |

| After applying for Roan registration with the AHA they declined us saying that Chloe doesn't have enough GREY hair and that she should have dark legs and a dark head with a white body. I would just like to make note that not a single Arabian in this breed is a True Roan. They are all either Rabicano roans, or Sabino roans. Not true dark head, and pointed Roans. So in my opinion the registry is full of themselves. The photos' below are proof enough even with her winter coat starting to come on that Chloe has more than enough roaning to apply. The Bask daughter Easter Baskett who resided at one time at MSU Did Not have this much roaning and she was registered as Roan. Chloe has roaning throughout her entire body, even on her face and ears, and all the way down her legs into her markings. She even has white hair spreading throughout her dark chestnut mane. See this in the very bottom photo. To Us She is Roan. |
