| The idea of a "Pioneer Counties of Missouri" is based on the "Pioneer Families of Missouri" publication by Bryan and Rose- 1876.This book was limited to five counties north of the Missouri River.While it does not reflect the "pioneer counties", they did a remarkable job of gathering information for that period of time. This website will follow those five counties. |
