{rolThe Pz 68 is the following natural step in the development of the Pz-61, first designed and built by Switzerland, aprox. 150. The Pz-61 is phased out since 1995 and replaced for the Pz 68. This has the same main gun as the 61, a 105 mm, and is similar in appearance, but it's much improved. But this was the last Swiss tank, because is no longer in production. Actually, Switzerland is producing the German Leopard 2 under license with the designation: Pz-87 Leo.
Standard equipment from factory does not include any fire control system, but later the Pz 68 has been upgraded to Pz-68/88, which does fit improved suspension, computerised fire control system, and NBC protection. o}
