Julie Pinson was born in Palo Alto California and raised in Fremont. She is the youngest of four children, one older sister, and two older brothers. Julie's Mom, Elyssa, a piano teacher in San Diego, and her dad a chiropractor in the San Francisco Bay area have always been so supportive to her and her career. As a young girl Julie loved Barbie Dolls, and cats, but could climb trees with her brothers as well. In the fourth grade Julie starred in a school production of "Heidi", she was a hit to say the least and hooked to the spot light from that moment on.
In high school, Julie went to a Catholic school, she was nice to everyone, with lots of friends and just as beautiful. Julie took part in high school drama, was a cheerleader and earlier the catcher of the girls softball team. Finally, after high school, and still aspiring to be an actress Julie moved to L.A. and worked at a clothing store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Julie also had jobs at other clothing stores, and Los Angeles' Club Med as well. She got extra jobs in several Television commercials, and her film credits include "Unstrung Heroes", "Mambo Kings", and the Steve Martin hit: "Srgt. Bilko." During her time of being an extra in such movies Julie got a manager, and an agent. But eventually, Julie was still not being paid to be an actor, and down to her last 50 bucks. She was seriously considering moving to Ohio, getting a regular job, and having a family. Julie called her dad, knowing he would have some wise words for her, he encouraged her to never give up, and he had faith in her that she had the aspiration to achieve her goals, she has always landed on her feet no matter what, and she could land steady this time as well. Julie than auditioned for Port Charles. She screen tested for Julie Devlin, Eve Lambert, and Karen Wexler. After the audition, she took a trip to Egypt with her Mom and had to wait two weeks to find out if she had won the role. Eager to learn the outcome, Julie called her manager daily from Egypt, but ultimately was back home when she discovered that she had landed the role of Eve, the sexy doctor, with a troubled past. On the prime time special of Port Charles, Julie was a hit, and through out the first week of it's airing on ABC daytime, Julie continued to be a wise casting decision. Despite her spectacular success, Julie hasn't developed a big head. She kept her old junk car until recently, when she bought a Black Ford SUV Expedition, a treat she most certainly deserves. Julie enjoys target shooting, movies, traveling, collecting Barbies (she has 40) and reading horror novels, in fact she reads everynight before bed. Julie is a major supporter for animal rights and is involved in several charities that are based on Animal protection. Julie resides in Los Angeles in a beautiful Hollywood Hills apartment. She has 3 cats, Tommy, Mikki, and Mishka. Julie's favorite books are anything by Steven King, she is a Scorpio on born on November 7th. Julie is of Russian Aristocracy nationality, and therefore is very well mannered, in fact she wont chew gum in front of people.
Her favorite movies are "When Harry Met Sally" and "Valley Girl." Her favorite actress is Meg Ryan, and her favorite actor is Robert Redford. Her favorite current running show is "Friends." As a child, and even now Julie loves Charlie's Angels.
Her favorite ice cream is Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey. She hates all seafood, if it comes oout of the water she wont heat it. She loves shopping at Bloomingdales. Her newest aspiration is to sing, although she thinks she can't.
In her opinion her best trait is she is a giver, her worst is that she procrastinates.
Her wish is to own a big ranch and take in every stray animal there is, her favorite possession is her Cartier watch. If she wasn't an actress she would be a hairdresser, makeup artist, or a teacher. Led Zeppelin is her favorite bad, her favorite seasons are fall and winter, favorite clothes are sweats. Some people would be surprised to know she has tattoos, on her ankle she has a star with wings, on her lower back she has a small star with a crescent moon and a feminine design on each side. Her favorite vacation spot is the Pink Sand Beaches in Bermuda. Her pet peeves are abuse to animals, and her really loud neighbors who play their music really loud at every hour of the night...or day. She would love to win an Academy Award. Julie has been nominated for two Soap Opera Digest awards, two years in a row, those nominations were for Outstanding Younger Actress, and Outstanding Supporting Actress. She admires Elizabeth Taylor, Hillary Clinton, Meg Ryan and Steven Spielberg but not necessarily in that order. She would love to have been an actress in the 40's or 50's cause it was all right to have a curvy body. She is close friends with Ion Overman (Gabriella, PC) and Kin Shriner (Scotty, PC) Through the ups and downs Julie has always been a superb person, to say she is thankful for her life is an understatement, but it is a life she undoubtedly deserves.
