| Ric is a Filipino fingerstyle guitarist who is gaining a reputation with fingerstyle guitar enthusiasts in the US as well as internationally. Growing up in the Philippines, Ric started playing guitar when he was nine years old by studying Andres Segovia, Laurindo Almeida and especially Chet Atkins. Because of this, Ric's talents blossomed as a young artist. While in his country, he received a Bachelors Degree in Music and also received a scholarship to study guitar. After winning numerous competitions and awards, Ric performed in many five-star hotels and cruise ships. |

| After moving to the United States, based in Los Angeles, Ric continued to pursue his musical career by performing solo recitals including a classical repertoire as well as jazz standards. In addition, he maintains a devotion to the fingerstyle guitar playing of Chet Atkins. Ric is currently a featured artist at the annual Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville, Tennessee as well as the Association of Fingerstyle Guitarists in Los Angeles. He also currently has three albums/CDs available, all of which contain wonderful fingerstyle guitar renditions of popular jazz, classical, and contemporary music. |
