Adolfo Timuat
Madrid-based international guitarist Adolfo moves from classical to flamenco to original composition with strength, precision and fire. His mastery of the Spanish guitar is from A to Z.

Adolfo is recognized by guitar masters of Spain as "guitarrista de concierto, compositor, profesor, e investigador". Born in Okinawa, Japan of Filipino and Japenese parents, his family moved to the Phillippines in the mid-60s.

As a boy he performed in folk music clubs in Manila and developed a range of musical interests - Indian, Arabic, Asian and - a passion for flamenco. His career as a guitarist was launched with a flamenco guitar recital at Carnegie Hall. While in NYC, he was a guest teacher at the American Insititute of Guitar.

In 1986 he pursued his master's in classical guitar at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid. That same year he performed at the prestigious El Ateneo Cientifico Literario y Aristica
