Nepenthes Water Requirement

I normally water my Neps every morning and sometimes in the afternoon too during summer. Since I am using the coconut husk as my medium , I dont normally encounter problem related to dehydration. I also collect rain water from our gutter every morning and use this to mist my neps. Ive read so may article about using rainwater or distilled water in watering one's Neps but I guess this is not applicable in our country. The tap water from our faucet is ok I guess or it might depend on which place you are. But normally, when you are in the province you dont have this worry on the effect of these chemicals that are being added to our water to make it safe for our consumption. Also, since we are a tropical country, during rainy season, these chemicals which have been deposited to the plants and the medium is being washout which prevent a permanent damage to our Neps (That is according to a cp friend). But if you have a big water container, I advice you to start collecting rain water during the rainy days so you'll have a whole year round supply of rain water for your Cp. Well it starts raining now in some part of the country so get your container ready. Ready ka na ba ?
