Aiyaaa!!!
Finally! An update!!
I've been thinking which of the million excuses I have for updating only now when I should've done this last month. Then again, I decided not to give any and...uh...look to the future! Yes, that's right!
right.
ANYWAY it's been a rollercoaster summer for me so far. Going out, staying in, blahblahblah, these are things better suited for the NEW [not so] New News section! The [not so] New News section contains recent (or not so recent) notable happenings in the CCCom world, the real world, other dimensions, and whatever rants and little factoids I'd like to put there.
Another NEW section is the Shoutbox!, which is basically a whole page containign only a tagboard and an occasionally changing background. Currently the background art is entitled "Shout" and was made by my very cool and talented friend Kieren (visit her gallery at deviantART).
Next in line are the oh-so-few-but-really-long articles. First is Mission:Indie which is the first installment of a possible series of independent comics reviews. I say possible because I don't really know how many indie comics are out there...and where to get them. Start small...but this article is big in itself already. Anyway, this issue reviews all indies that are available in Sarabia Optical at the University of the Philippines Shopping Center. I've acquired 10 titles in all (it would've been 11 if Kubori Kikiam had been available), divided into 2 batches. As of this update I've only finished 5 of them, and I'll follow up the rest within the month.
The second article (which kinda blew out of proportion, I think) is about a little discovery I made when I started playing Ragnarok Online again: RO BGM!. ^_^ it's fun when you discover good things.
Well, I think that's about it for this issue...Yep, no more excuses. Leave 'em in my head.
Ame
