*Top 5 Films*
When I last updated this page, nearly 5 years ago my top 5 films were:
5. High Fidelity (2000) Director: Stephen Frears
4. Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail (1975) Director Terry Gilliam & Terry Jones
3. The Crow (1994) Director: Alex Proyas
2. Yellow Submarine (1968) Director: George Dunning
1. Usual Suspects (1995) Director: Bryan Singer

I'm not suggesting that I don't still love these movies, but rather, that I now have a broader base of opinion. As much as I love them, I can not watch 'the holy grail' or 'the usual suspects' in te same way these days, as I find both have lost something by having been seen already, whether it be their immediate funniness, or their tension. I find this with a lot of films, + hence, judge my appreciation of films by the length of time they can hold their awe for me.

Based on this, some of my current favourite films are:
Funny Games (US)
Transformers
American History X
The Emporer's New Groove
See No Evil, Hear No Evil
Duck 'Til Dawn
A Nightmare Before Christmas
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Almost Famous
Con Air
Moulin Rouge
Lucky Number Slevin
Girl, Interrupted
Monkey Business
Leon
30 Days of Night
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
Batman: Dark Knight
Interview With the Vampire

This isn't all tho, there's always room for more...
