Found "<blah>" speech in Kage no Ookami. (title provided by Yaoi-junkie) 'blah' thoughts of character. ////////////////////////////////// Sesshoumaru, Sora, Shishio, and Aoji were walking back towards their hut. Celestine had already departed the group after the performance. "So how did you guys enjoy the show?" Sora asked the rest of the group. "Very...enticing." Sesshoumaru answered. "You were amazing, onee-san." Shishio added. "Thanks. I wanted to put on a performance for a while." Sora looked toward Aoji and Shishio, who were on her left side. "So, when do you two plan to tell me about your relationship?" Shishio and Aoji stopped in their tracks and looked at Sora with wide eyes. "Uh..." Shishio was like a deer caught in headlights. He didn't expect his sister to find out so soon. "It wasn't our intention to keep it from you, Princess. We wanted to find an appropriate time to tell you." Aoji answered. "Onee-sama, please don't be mad. I know I never told you I was interested in men, let alone Aoji, but-" "It's okay. I don't care about your sexual preference. And it's alright if you want to be with Aoji. He's a great person. And you know, you two are perfect for each other." "Really?" Shishio answered. "Yeah. You both make each other happy. And for Aoji, that's a great thing." Aoji smile at the compliment. "You're right. He does make me happy." Shishio pulled Aoji down by his forearms for a passionate kiss. When they pulled back, Aoji was left breathless. Shishio smirked at the dumbfound look on his koi's face. "I've wanted to do that, in front of someone, for a long time." "I could get used to this." Aoji smirked. ~*~*~*~*~*~* Kouga was curled against Inuyasha and had an arm draped over his waist, while Inuyasha had his arms wrapped around Kouga. All of a sudden a rope wrapped around Kouga's thoat and cut off the air to his lungs. Kouga started thrashing about, due to the rude awakening. He managed to elbow whoever was holding the rope and took care of the one to his right. As he was about to snap the intruder's neck, he paused at what he heard. "<I would stop if I were you, if you value your little whore's life that is.>" Kouga stopped what he was doing and looked around to find Inuyasha bound by his wrists and ankles. He was held up by to other men while the third held a dagger to his throat. "Inuyasha..." He let go of the intruder's neck. The other two quickly grabbed Kouga's arms and tied them behind him. The third, who was elbowed, hit Kouga square in his solar plex with his knee. Kouga gasped for breath but was held up by the other two. "<You think you can get away with what you did? How could you turn your back on your tribe? By having a relationship with...him." He emphasized his point by bringing the dagger closer to his neck. "Kouga-" "I'm here. Don't worry." he said to Inuyasha. He knew that the people in this tribe couldn't understand English. "<And I find you laying with him naked...disgusting. Who knows what sinful things you two have done so far. What you've done to my sister is unforgiveable.>" "<So, you're Nirah's brother. Should've known. You both have that same stench.>" Kouga's jaw collided with one of the intruder's foot. "<You're not in any position to make any snide comments, Kouga. I can just as easily slit his throat and make you watch his life fade away.>" "<Please, he had nothing to do with this->" "<He had everything to do with this! Maybe by getting rid of him, you'll reconsider your decision.>" The man with the dagger ran it across Inuyasha neck, light enough to draw blood and not kill him. "Please, stop." Tears cascaded down Inuyasha's eyes. Kouga could only look on helplessly. "<Please don't hurt him! He doesn't know what you're saying, let alone who you are or why you're doing this. If I...if I go with you do you swear not to hurt him?>" Kouga begged. 'It makes no sense for both of us to suffer.' Kouga thought to himself. "<Hmm, sounds like a good deal. But if I can't hurt him after I make the deal, it makes sense to do it now.>" Kouga's eyes widened. The man with the dagger snapped his fingers and Inuyasha was thrown and they began to kick and stomp on Inuyasha. "<PLEASE, STOP!>" Kouga cried out. A tear ran down his face, followed by two more, and then more. After they finished, Inuyasha had many bruises on his body. His face was wet from the silent tears he cried. The man with the dagger came up to Kouga and grabbed his face. "<You dare to shed tears for him?!>" Kouga glared at him. He spat in his face. "<You're a monster.>" The man with the dagger wiped off the spit and punched Kouga in his jaw. Kouga started bleeding from his mouth. "<Oh well. Deal with it. But before we leave, we should let your little whore know what we're going to do with you. Translate everything I say to him, and don't think about switching up the words either.> You're not the only one who knows English." Kouga was surprised at how easily he switched for Kage no Ookami to English. Kouga just nodded in agreement. "<Tell him because of your stupid mistake, he'll have to pay the consequences.>" Kouga looked at Inuyasha, who eyes could barely been seen through his hair. His eyes were diverted to the floor. "Inuyasha, listen. I'm going to translate what he's saying." Inuyasha looked up with his eyes at Kouga's naked form. "Because of my...stupid mistake, I have to pay the consequences." "<We're going to torture you, slowly, when we drag you off to the woods." Kouga had a pained look on his face, but never took his eyes off his fiancee. "They're going to slowly t-torture me in the woods." Kouga tried hard to keep his tears from falling. It was made even more difficult when he saw the look on his itoshii's face. 'I have to be strong for him.' Kouga looked into his lover's eyes. They were glassy from tears that were held back. "<And then we'll make sure you'll never see you're little whore ever again.>" Kouga's eyes widened and his jaw clenched tight. The man with the dagger back handed Kouga, who spit out the excess blood. "<Say it, or I'll take him to the woods instead.>" Kouga's head lowered until his eyes were covered by his bangs. "They'll m-make sure that...that I'll..." Tears fell on the ground by his feet. "Tell...me...please Kouga." Inuyasha's voice was weak but managed to speak. 'Inuyasha...' "Th-that I'll never see...my little wh-whore ever again." The tears, the emotions he tried to hold back broke through all his barriers. 'No! Kouga!' Inuyasha struggled to get up, but heard Kouga's voice. "Stop. Don't worry about me. Just...live for me, itoshii." "<That's enough. Take him out of here.>" They dragged Kouga away, leaving Inuyasha on the floor, naked, tied up and bruised. But the only feeling he felt was grief. "Kouga! Please don't go!" Inuyasha let out a sorrowful wail and sobbed his heart out. //////////////// As Aoji, Sora, Sesshoumaru, and Shishio reached the hut the group of five were staying in, Aoji noticed a group of people dragging someone with them in the shadows toward the woods. "Do you see that Princess?" "Yes." she answered. "Something isn't right. We should check it out." Shishio said. Sora and Aoji nodded. They all ran towards the shadowy group until they heard wailing coming from a nearby hut. They instead turned to the hut to see what made the sound. "That's Kouga's old hut." Sora stated. As they neared the hut, the wailing became louder. Shishio drew his switchblade while Aoji drew a dagger from behind him. Shishio and Aoji burst through the door in attack mode, but weren't prepared for what they saw. They encountered Inuyasha on the floor naked with bruises on his body and his wrists and ankles tied. He was curled into a ball sobbing and wailing. "ANI!!" Shishio was the first to run to Inuyasha and cut his bindings. He pushed back his hair from his face to only find more bruises and a cut on his neck that had caked on blood. Shishio grabbed a nearby blanket and covered his older brother's body. Sesshoumaru knelt down and laid Inuyasha's head on his lap. Sora and Aoji remained standing by Inuyasha's feet. They were both too stunned to react. "Otouto-chan, what happened?" Sesshoumaru asked, stroking his brother's cheek. Inuyasha continued to sob despite the comfort of his family. "Kouga...I'll never see him again. Gods, please, kill me. My life...is nothing without him." Inuyasha choked out. Sesshoumaru was hurt by these words. He cupped Inuyasha's face and held back tears. 'I don't like to see you hurt, otouto-chan.' he thought. "I don't want you to die, otouto-chan. Tell us where Kouga is and we'll save him." "We'll do more than save him." Sora's eyes glowed with unadulterated anger. Even Aoji moved slightly away from Sora. Her aura seemed to pulsate with mixed emotions: pity, anger, sadness, and most of all, venegence. Inuyasha looked up at his older brother through glassy eyes. "Kouga...woods...help him. Please..." Inuyasha fainted. "Sesshoumaru, Shishio, stay here with Inuyasha. Aoji, come with me." Sora headed towards the door while removing the chimes that adorned her wrists, ankles and feet. "Where are you going onee-sama?" Sora turned to Shishio with an unfamiliar look on her face. 'She doesn't look like herself.' Shishio thought. Sesshoumaru was still looking down at Inuyasha. 'I recognize that look. Blood will be shed tonight.' Aoji thought. "I'm going to rescue Kouga. Knowing him, he made a deal to go with whoever took him to only take him, and not Inuyasha. They'll be sorry they hurt my family." She walked out the door with Aoji on her heels. Shishio turned to Sesshoumaru. "I'm worried, Maru-niisama." Sesshoumaru lifted his head towards Shishio. "Everything will be fine. Help me get him cleaned up. Look for anything that will help." Shishio nodded.
