Funny Story #1: A fecking huge horsefly just flew in a 1 crack in my window and landed in my lap. o.O. That was a bit traumatizing. Mom had to pull over on the side of the highway so we could throw out the unwanted hitchhiker.
I cannot believe I had to get up at 5:00. The sun doesnt even get up that early!
Hehe. I played Tribute By Tenacious D for Mom. I havent seen her laugh so hard in a long time. It was great.
Its really hard to write in the car. It should be interesting trying to read this later so I can put it online.

Mood: Amused
Music: Forever Love X Japan |
Thank GOD (or Best Buy) for my CD player. One can only handle so much country music until one just spontaneously combusts!
Haha. So we stop to get gas and eat lunch, right? Id taken my shoes off, and when I went to put them back on, one of my beloved shoes was missing!!!! Now this was bad because not only are they my favorite shoes, theyre also the only pair I own! (Besides the knee-high boots and the boot thingies with the 4 heels, but yeah.) But I found the shoe wedged under the seat, so its all good, I just had a brief moment of panic like the time at Best Buy when the moved the anime section and I couldnt find it. (Shaddup)
Snerk. So I go in the gas station and go to the bathroom. And in the bathroom, instead of a tampon machine or something, theres a condom vending machine. So Im thinking, *gulp* Am I in the wrong bathroom here? o.O But I wasnt.
And THEN on our way over to DQ to get lunch, I see a guy in a total pimp car. The front license plate said, Mr. T. I found this to be uber-hilarious, and Mom just kinda gave me weird looks while I pointed and laughed. *Falls over giggling* Wait. That wont really work since Im sitting in the car. *doubles over in laughter* There. Thats better.
Okay, Im gonna go color in my Disney coloring book some more. How cool would a JRocker coloring book be? I have a feeling Im the only one whos gonna see this journal that sees amusement in that.. |

Kay, now Im a bit bored. But it took me a while to get there.
Hehe. The last bathroom I was in had a machine with neon, scented condoms. Must be a Kansas thing. O.O;;
Its nice outside. Big fluffy clouds. ^________^
I hope Mom and I go to Estes Park. (Estes Park be a town up in the mountains. The downtown area is like main street x10. Its so great.)
I just took my crayons and my Disney coloring book and turned Alladin into a crosdesser, @.@ I have serious issues. I didnt think anything of it until Mom looked at my lil pic and said, Thats really weird.

SoI just went to get this notebook which is serving as my journal for this trip. It was in my cousin Jacks room which is where were sleeping. Anyway, I looked in his hermit crab tank, and it appeared that 2 of his crabs tore the 3rd into several pieces. Little bastards. That wasnt pretty at all.
Yeah. So. Were staying at my Aunt Karens house. We got here around 8:30 Saturday nite. The drive was only around 13 hours cuz mom likes to drive fast. (Not as fast as Josh tho ^^)
Heh. On the way here we kept waving to people cuz Mom gets REALLY hyper when she takes caffeine pills to help her stay awake. (That, my friends, is one of the most entertaining things Ive ever seen.) We had some guys in a truck driving along side us for quite a ways. 2 of them were close to my age ^^ It was great.
~~Tangent~~ Jack: What are you doing? Me: Listening to gothic Japanese rock and writing a novel. Why? Jack: *weird look* I told him I was writing a novel so I could get an ever weirder look. I dont think these people even read. ~~End Tangent~~
We went and saw my Grandma yesterday. SHe lives in assisted living in a really neat retirement village. It goes:
4th Floor: Independent Living 3rd Floor: Assisted Living 2nd Floor: More Assisted Living 1st Floor: Nursing Home
She lives on the 2nd floor. Its a really great place, but its really sad seeing your Grandma on oxygen and sleeping all the time and being really forgetful. The worst thing by far was when I opened the envelope labeled Ella Frank on the back of her door and found an order for paramedics not to resuscitate if something were to happen. Its her decision, but Mom and I were rather angry that no one decided to tell us about this.
Oh, a bit about my aunts dysfunctional household. Its a lot cleaner than it used to be. Amy (19) and Nikki (23) have moved out, but theyre here most of the time anyway. Amy is by far the most responsible one in their family. Shes awesome. Waynes girlfriend Megan (16) LIVES with them and sleeps with Wayne (18) in his room. Then theres also Mandi (17) who likes to go party with Megan and a lot of times they come home around 1:00 completely stoned and NO ONE CARES. And Jack (14) and Jill (23) also live there. All in a doublewide trailer. I tell ya.
~~Tangent take 2~~ Im gonna put a little key on here like Ica did in her journal.
Karen My aunt Karens kids: ***Nikki: 21 ***Amy:19 ***Wayne:18 *******Megan: Waynes GF (16) Jim Karens BF of like, 10 years Jims Kids: ***Jill: 23 ***Mandi: 17 ***Jack: 14
~~End Tangent Take 2~~
I REALLY WANT A COMPUTER
This is gonna suck typing this all up.
Mom and I are definitely going to Estes tomorrow.
I wish Id collected all my friends addresses so I could send postcards. I miss you guys. T_T
I think Ive collected a lot of odd looks by now. Im the strange cousin sitting in the corner of the room, wearing pigtails and bright pink pants (and a shirt, of course), writing a bunch of stuff, and completely ignoring everything around me. *^_~* *snicker*
Wow. 4 pages of college-rule makeshift journal filled with this entry so far. My hand is tired.
All in all, Im enjoying myself quite a lot.
Eep. More people I dont know. Its way to hectic here. Im gonna be antisocial and sit here trying to be invisible.
More random people. Im gonna go retreat to Aunt Karens room where she and Mom are now. |

Music: Oasis - Gackt |
Went to Estes. That was lots of fun. I bought a really neat Black Hills Gold ring.
After that we went and ate dinner with Grandma. Everyone in the retirement village is so nice, there are tons of activities, and its not like a nursing home at all. When I think nursing home, I think sterile death. But Im a bit morbid like that.
Ive been sitting here playing with Jacks hermit crabs for an hour cuz their company is muchquieter.
I got addresses, so Im gonna work on postcards. I got everyones but Joshs. |

Mmhmm. Trying to talk Mom into letting us stay another day. Dun wanna go home Friday.
We had a big BBQ and got most of the family together. Course, the people who live here make up about 2/3 of the Colorado family anyway.
Jills boyfriend Carlos is hilarious. Heres this big guy who absolutely idolizes Martha Stewart. *giggles*
o.O Im in Jacks room and he has just run in here and locked the door and someone is banging on the other side. Mandi. Now Mandi is hitting Jack. Jack is yelling. Gawd, I appear so mellow in this place. Its complete madness. |

Leaving early tomorrow morning. Poo. T_T
hehe. I bought a really cool bonsai tree today. And I named it Oliver. Cuz Im weird like that.
My poor computer has been used by no one but Ann for almost a week. *gasp* I hope it still works when I get home
The weirdest thing happened in Grandmas apartment today. Mom and I were standing up getting ready to go get our food in the dining room. (Grandma wasnt feeling well, so they brought hers up to her room.) While I was standing there, I felt the floor get all wavy and I thought I was dizzy and gonna pass out. I said something along the lines of, Mom, why does the floor feel like its moving? She said she felt the same way. So yeah. We went downstairs and still felt that way, and in a few minutes, it was all back to normal. We didnt put it all together till later, but we decided we were high off some really strong chemical fumes. Mom had smelled something a bit odd in the apartment, and earlier a nurse chick had smelled it too and accused Mom of smoking. So someone must have spilled something really strong and it came up through the vents. It didnt affect Grandma cuz shes on oxygen. We would have said something to them, but the smell was gone in a few minutes.
I have really bright, light blue lipstick on. It looks cool. Literally.
Jeeze the people Im living with are weird. ^______^ |

Heh. Jims killing flies. There was a moth flying in here and I told him not to kill it. He tried to catch it and that didnt work so he hit it out of the air with the flyswatter and obviously killed it. He picked it up and said, See? I knocked it out. Now Ill put it outside and itll fly away! He threw it in the air outside and said, see? It flew! Woooo! It was hilarious. Jims voice is great and he tells stories really well. We laugh at him all the time. |

And now we're almost home. I don't really have anything important to say about the trip home. I'm tired and want to go to bed. I've played Mom's handheld solitaire game for about 5 hours straight.
I didn't cover near everything in this journal, but that woud take way to long and I'm lazy. |
