ikons.
the 48x48 images displayed are a preview of the icons available for download in the ikonpaks. while converting these files into jpegs to be shown here, some resolution quality got lost. trust me though, they look way better once they're on your desktop compressed at 32x32. within the ikonpaks the file extension is [.ico], which is the standard windows extension for an icon file. for those of you under mac persuasion, or for those that aren't into downloading entire sets, just save any individual square, then paste it into whichever image program works best for you.
and just one more thing...
these little colour cubes come from various resources. some are stolen images from kazillions of sites i've happened upon, some are scans from little things i've collected while walking around, or whatever, some are pics i've taken with a now defunct digicam, and there are even a few that i've *drawn* using this hip little piece of shareware called microangelo. it's an icon-maker-manager tool that does a bunch of other cool stuff too. ok, but um... so, in absolutely no way am i claiming any kind of ownership or rights to any of the images here. you know, i make them because i like them, and they're here because sharing is good. in the extreme unlikelihood (oh, spelling?) you should find an image here that is yours, and feel this silly forum may be some kind of diabolical mission to exploit your grafs, please notify me, it will be removed. ok, that's it.
...oops, almost. if you're wishing you could see all the secret stuff surrounding some of these itsy-bitsy images, or if you just want to move in for a closer look, just ask, i'll give it to you. make sure to specify which image/s you're requesting, and head the subject line as [bigpic], or something.
