First: I love Audrey Hepburn movies. The first time I saw Breakfast At Tiffany's, I refused to wear any colors other than black, white and khaki. I wanted to tease my hair and wear scarves and sunglasses. I did endup with a few chunky blonde streaks in my dark hair a-la- Holly Golightly...very fun. Roman Holiday made me desparately want to own a Vespa scooter and cut my hair off. I settled for learning how to ride a Honda Motor Scooter, not quite as romantic, but now I am prepared when the opportunity to ride a Vespa comes along! And My Fair Lady? Those clothes! Those songs! Need I say more?
Second: In these fabulous movies, how often did she wear a tiara? A lot! I can't think of another person who was photographed more with rhinestones in her hair! So whether it is her regal beauty or the royal air she carries with her, for some reason, tiaras simply suit her.
Third: Her charity work and passion for helping those who are less fortunate are legendary. She was the good will embassador for UNICEF for many years, as well as spending a great deal of time in Africa, South & Central America and Sudan for charitable causes.
Lastly: I must admit, it was the easy way out. Since I know she wore many tiaras, I figured it would be easy to find pictures of her in them.
