I have never went beyond touching a bit under shirts, but I had a boyfriend a while ago who wanted to go beneath my shirt on day two. I refused at that point but later I let him cross my borders with that, because I didn't want to be prude to him. I now think it's stupid of me that I let the wrong guy do such intimate things to me, and I have sworn from that moment on, to God and myself, to keep such things for matrimony.
Why did you want to join the convent?
To make my promise more official, and to make it under the watching eye of God. And of course to meet people who share the same views about these things as me.
What is your definition of sexual purity?
To save sexual relationships until marriage, to keep away from anything that disgraces sex or degrades it to something of lust or something casual. I believe that sex is something sacred, meant for two people joined in matrimony. I think being faithful to your husband/wife is very important too, and that saving your virginity for 'the one' is respectful towards yourself, to God, and to the ones you love.
