Just to start things up, I don't appreciate the fact that as caffeine works in the body, it is a drug. It hurts your heart (the literal one). See I don't drink soda and it isn't just because I don't like the bubbles, okay?
Also, you really need to flush all this crap out of your system and that means you will need to be drinking lots of water which means a bathroom break every five minutes. Then there is the addictive nature of the caffeine, which brings me back to the drug part; it's all a big circle (or an oval or something). Sure I eat chocolate but not tons and not every single day so it isn't addictive to me. That would be a huge sigh of relief for a lot of you, huh?
Doing normal things like lots of sleep (in normal intervals...darn, no up to midnight one night, eight thirty next). I can sound kind of cheesy but once you get into the routine you can feel really refreshed and perky the next morning. Just the kind of person you would usually hate to stare at bleary eyed when you aren't feeling that way, huh?
Eating right can really add up. Sure, candy will give you a huge energy rush, but for a very short amout of time. Then you go to a sluggish low. Oooh! Chart time! See how eating the orange doesn't give as big a high but lasts longer and never crashes below how you felt before (okay, so it's not scientific but you get the point doncha?).

Now also when you are exercising try to breathe. I know it sounds stupid, but seriously; a lot of people start to breathe abnormally and they really lose energy (and brain cells). Now I'm not talking rhythmic "one...two...three BREATHE" stuff but come ON! You need to breathe normally, ya know. I know it won't be the same as when you are sitting on the couch and veggin', but still -- normal breathing patterns. Recent studies showed no improvment in athletic preformance when one person breathed normally and another person practiced strict rythmic breathing. Remember, don't over do it. You should be able to talk but be going at it so you can't sing.
A few more simple energy boosters are mostly cliches. Like, eat a good breakfast...yuck, as if that hasn't been done to death! But, it's been done to death for a reason. Also stretching, up-beat music and exposure to the sun (with sunscreen, of course).
Well, have fun... great, energetic fun!
