i loved you once
i loved you true
words cannot explain
how i felt for you.
no laugh can bring back memories we shared,
and no other feeling can i bare.
for it was always you, on my mind
when i started my mornings
and fell asleep at night.
i thought always meant forever
and you'd still love me now
but things are different, and seeing you makes me frown.
it's like shattered glass
a beautiful day turned dark
or the most precious flower that did not last.
it's too hard to see you,
make a new wave.
now i sorrow
day and day.
the most wonderful things in life must end
and i still love you,
it's like an arrow pointing one way in the sand.
you opened a new door
and i musn't follow.
you shut the door
so i can't come in.
mine is still opened,
waiting and waiting.

Ocean Poem
Often times I find myself losing what I never had.
The tides will bring you the most beautifil thing in your minds belief and take it all away.
You want something so bad that your heart cries,
And you think far beyond today.
Getting away to a place where your body feels perfect,
Might be the next best thing.
And maybe, just maybe, you'll find your treasured prize in the sand.
Maybe our hearts have compasses
Always leading us to the sea.
and finds in your presence,
that life is worthwhile.
So whenever you are lonely,
remember this is true,
somebody, somewhere, is thinking of you.
For a lie that strong can ruin my life and bring on a new fear.
Fear to be loved, fear to love ever again
It can cause my fragile heart to break, tear and bend.
Think of all in life that will be missed
because of one small broken promise
So, when I put all of my trust deep within you
Please don't tell me you love me, unless you truly do.
