This is Burt, the cockatoo. He is quite a character with his animal impersonations. He can bark and yelp like a dog and meow like a cat. He often fools people. He has a large and colourful vocabulary. He dances, sings, jumps and performs cocky aerobics. He sometimes has wild cockatoos coming in to visit him. They make a terrible noise when they all start squawking at once but they are funny to watch.

Don't let that cute expression trick you... Burt LOVES to attack bare toes and chase the cats!

Burt doesn't know how to fly, when he was young he was kept in a cage that was far too small and never learned. He loves walking around the yard and digging holes. He is quite efficient at it too!
