BAND PHOTOGRAPHS
Occasional songwriter and expert on playing The White Stripes' "Fell In Love With A Girl", Simon has recently come a cropper after injuring himself at playing football. Doh! Here he is, sat alone with his thoughts one miserable day following his injury that laid him up for a week or so. Honestly, the boredom that must have set in to make hjim stoop to the depths of taking photos of his crutches...I don't know, Still, he's getting better.
For the love of Steven...give him an inch and he'll take a flipping mile. Here is Simon a mere two minutes after taking the picture of his crutches, gloating with his captain's armband that he wears playing for Bishopsteignton United FC, only not at the moment.
Note the smile of contempt for those lower than him, perhaps other amateur footballers who are not club captains.
And Boy Wonder makes it a hat trick of photographs, although this time loses marks for not looking at the camera when capturing his gurning mug on digital medium. What he's holding here is his half finished guitar building project which he hopes to varnish and then put back together, having stripped it down from the black lacquer.
The top part, you'll have noticed, is missing, and therefore remains in an unplayable state at this time.
Here is Pete's new reading material! Loaned from Simon, who actively sought it out in a Soho sex shop when he hitch hiked there one weekend. Not that Pete has any trouble in that area, it's just very readable bedtime (excuse the pun) material.
Pete practising the tune to one of his compositions called "Glamour" in the eloquent surroundings of Simon's bedroom one Saturday evening. The guitar in the picture is actually Gary's, who has left it up Simon's house so long "it should be mine by rights" says Simon. Picture taken by Simey Si.
Simon engrossed in a particularly violent game of Grand Theft Auto III, while Pete takes a kind of pseudo-self portrait, before the whole thing collapsed into a mish mash of quotes from 'Snatch' and arguing about what song to put on Simon's MP3 player. I believe the latest effort from The Streets, "Lets Push Things Forward" was on at this point. The PS2 Simon is playing on, is, need I tell you, mine.
