Kate has left NMFS/NOAA, and is now working for UTMB.
Cricket and Casey decided to grace us with their presence. Much alcohol was drunk. I believe the highlight of the weekend was going out to one of our favorite bars, "The Island Bar", aka Safari Beach Club. Sitting on their patio enjoying a few icy cold beverages (mmm, crazy tasty), we witnessed a slight disturbance on the seawall. Namely two random guys arguing. And one decides to pull a stick out of his car and beat the other one with it. Several times. WTF? Shannon, being the new EMT that she is, makes a phone call or two. Before you can say 'sex with a goat' we've got a couple black & whites, an ambulance and a fire engine on the scene. So many flashing lights! Good times! And by the time we got home, we'd been joined by more Flamingos, Markus & Kat! And then more alcohol was drunk! And somehow in the process, Shannon decides to leave her new car parked outside the Lounge. Not a good idea! It was pranked. Nothing too serious, just a few fliers related to the night before taped to her windows.
Let's see, what else. Cindy & Adam managed to come down to the island for Easter weekend. What a fucking shock that I manage to be offshore for that.
Ummm. Well, last night Brian's truck was broken into. Why? So someone could steal his battery. WTF? A battery? You're kidding me. Who the hell breaks into a vehicle to steal a battery?
That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe more later, but probably not...
