Bed Time Bear is always sleeping. He is always awake when he is needed down on Earth though. He is the one who helps when someone doesn't want to go to bed or is scared of something in their dark bedroom.

Birthday Bear loves to party. You can count on him being there if it's someone's birthday. If there is no party he will make sure there is one ASAP, and it will definitely be a fun one.

Champ Bear is the athlete of the bears. He always does his best and is a good sport even if he doesn't win. He teaches that, no matter if you win or lose, the most important thing is to have fun.

Cheer Bear is very optimistic and happy. She is always there to do some cheering up if someone is feeling sad. She is very good at what she does and always knows just what to say to make someone smile.

Day Dream Bear always has her head in the clouds when she is imagining what a wonderful place the world could be if there were no people like No Heart and his side kicks.

Friend Bear is always there when someone needs a friend. She is always ready and willing to help out a friend. She is always kind and caring in everything she does which makes her a very special Care Bear indeed.

Funshine Bear always has a bright smile on her face, nothing can keep her down for long. She can always find a way to make someone laugh, no matter what. She is very happy and outgoing.

Good Luck Bear loves to spread around his luck to all of his friends since it seems to follow him everywhere he goes. Sometimes he seems like the Bears' mascot, handing out four leaf clovers and good luck to keep them going.

Grams Bear takes care of Hugs and Tugs since they aren't old enough to go out on their own. She teaches them all of the values of the Care Bears so when there are old enough they will know everything the need to do their jobs.

Grumpy Bear knows just what it's like to have a rotten day. He lets everyone know that it is okay to let out your grumpiness rather than keeping it bottled up inside of you, as long as you don't hurt someone when you let it out

.Harmony Bear is a very upbeat bear who talks in rhyme all the time (look, she's even got me doing it). She teaches about harmony and it's importance throughout friendship and the world.

Hugs is not old enough to go down to Earth on her own so she stays with her brother and Grams Bear. She loves to give hugs and spread love to all of the Care Bears.

Love-a-lot Bear loves romance and frienship. She makes sure everyone feels loved and helps to solve problems and misunderstandings between friends.

Secret Bear is very good at keeping secrets. She always whispers and usually communicates using hand gestures. You can tell her anything and trust that she won't tell anyone else, but she also knows that there are some bad secrets that you have to tell because, if you don't, someone could get hurt.

Share Bear teaches that it is not good to be greedy. There is always enough to go around for everyone and if you share with someone then they will share with you.

Surprise Bear is very spontaneous and does anything that sounds like fun. You never know when he will show up and when he's around you never know what will happen next.

Take Care Bear teaches people how important it is to stay healthy. He shows how to keep warm, wash your hands, eat right, and other ways to keep bad germs from making you sick.

Tenderheart is the leader Care Bear and helps make all the big decisions. He teaches that it is important to show your true feelings. He is good at showing his own feelings, giving compliments and hugs.

Tugs is Hugs' brother. He feels that he is old enough to take care of himself and his sister. His job, until he is older, is to take care of Hugs.

Wish Bear is a very optimistic dreamer who has the big job of making wishes and dreams come true. She always gives people a sense of hope and she can change anything just by wishing.
