Nacho! The Chihuahua

This is the newest addition to our family.  Actually Nacho belongs to Isis.  My mom gave him to her as a birthday/Christmas present.  Isis loves him and likes carrying him around the house and chasing him around in the back yard.

When Nacho first came to live with us he was really scared and introverted.  For the first few days he kept to himself.  After that he became attatched to me (and still is) since Freddy doesn't make up with him after scolding him and since Isis tends to be too rough with him sometimes.

We're teaching Isis to be gentle with him and she helps me feed him.  As for the water ... well ... she likes to put her feet in his water bowl and that's as far as that goes.  Isis can't say Nacho so she says Acho.  She knows that he's her dog and takes it upon herself to keep him from quiet bt telling him to shut-up (sounds like sha-ap!).

Isis doesn't always like to play with Nacho and from time to time I'll hear "Acho, stopit!"  "Acho No!"  "Acho, Go!".  This is usually because he takes toys out of her hands and will run off with them and hide them under our bed.  He's a pack-rat and likes to hide things in wierd places.  I found rocks, toys and a sock in his house.

He's a pretty good dog and I don't many complaints from Isis unless he takes her toys or plays with either her stuffed zebra or her stuffed puppy dog.  She sleeps with those and doesn't like him messing with them.  Because of that Nacho seems to want those particular toys all the more and is constantly chewing on them.

Nacho got his name from the movie Nacho Libre.  All he needs is the cape, the stockings and the chonies.  It seemed cute to call him that since he's a funny little dog, we're mexican so we had to him a mexican name and Isis can say his name pretty well.
